Refund, Returns and Shipping

This Refund, Returns & Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through Wilderness Spirits SPRL (“we”, “us”, “our”) via our online store www.wilderness-spirits.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

SECTION 1 – Shipping Policy

  • Shipping Destinations:
    We ship to most countries worldwide, subject to local alcohol importation laws. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the import of alcoholic beverages is permitted in their jurisdiction.

  • Shipping Costs:
    Belgium & EU: calculated at checkout based on order size and destination.
    International: costs vary by region and will be displayed at checkout.
    Free shipping may apply to certain promotions (e.g., orders above a specified value within Belgium/EU).

  • Delivery Times:
    Belgium: typically 1–2 working days from dispatch.
    European Union: 3–7 working days from dispatch.
    International: 5–10 working days, depending on destination and customs clearance.
    Delays may occur during public holidays, customs inspections, or peak seasons.

  • Customs, Duties & Taxes:
    For customers outside the EU, all prices displayed are exclusive of local taxes, import duties, or clearance fees. These charges, where applicable, must be paid by the recipient before the goods are released. Wilderness Spirits SPRL cannot be held responsible for such charges or delays resulting from customs processing.

  • Age Verification on Delivery:
    As we sell alcohol, deliveries may require proof of legal drinking age. If no eligible person is available to receive the delivery, or if age verification fails, the order may be returned to us and additional shipping charges may apply.

SECTION 2 – Returns Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, due to the nature of alcoholic products, strict conditions apply.

  • Return Period:
    You have 30 days from the date of receipt to request a return.

  • Condition of Goods:
    To be eligible for a return, items must be:

    • In the same condition as received,

    • Unopened, unused, and in original packaging,

    • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Non-Returnable Items:
    We cannot accept returns of:

    • Opened bottles of alcohol,

    • Products purchased through third-party retailers,

    • Perishable items, custom orders, or gift cards,

    • Goods damaged due to misuse or negligence by the customer.

  • EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal:
    If you are based in the EU, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, without justification. However, under EU consumer law, this right does not apply to bottles of alcohol that have been opened or tampered with.

SECTION 3 – Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  1. Contact us immediately at info@wilderness-spirits.com,

  2. Provide photos and a description of the issue,

  3. We will assess the situation and, if approved, arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund.

We are only able to process refunds or replacements for items purchased directly from www.wilderness-spirits.com.

SECTION 4 – Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you wish to exchange an item, please first contact us at info@wilderness-spirits.com.

SECTION 5 – Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund is approved.

  • If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Please note that banks and card issuers may take additional time to process the refund.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at info@wilderness-spirits.com.

SECTION 6 – Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or damaged item).

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item if no tracking is provided.
